Michael Alexander Appointed Interim Executive Director of LSVDA

Veteran Golf Car and Utility Vehicle executive returns to lead Low Speed Vehicle Dealer Association

Osprey, FL (September 24, 2025) The Low-Speed Vehicle Dealer Association (LSVDA), founded to advance the interests of LSV and golf car distribution networks nationwide, announced today that Michael Alexander, a founding board member of LSVDA has been appointed Interim Executive Director for a six-month term.

Alexander has global executive leadership and board experience at OEMs, Suppliers and the manufacturer’s  association. He is a seasoned consultant to private equity and mid-market companies, specializing in leadership coaching, strategy, innovation and organizational growth. He brings extensive legislative and regulatory experience in the golf and low-speed vehicle industry and has helped organizations create new product categories, build strong brands and distribution networks to unlock new revenue.

The appointment comes as LSVDA enters a pivotal phase in its development. “We believe the association must take visible, concrete steps to deliver value to our members and sponsors, while building financial independence,” said the Board of Directors in a joint statement. LSVDA Chairman Brian Rott added, “Michael’s leadership will provide the focus and execution needed to accelerate our progress.”

Immediate Priorities Under Interim Leadership:

  • Launch a Founding 25 Dealer Member Campaign to recognize early adopters and to provide tangible value to all member dealers.
  • Rolling out sponsorship opportunities with clear visibility benefits.
  • Hosting an inaugural industry roundtable webinar to spark industry growth, dealer and sponsor engagement; always with a focus on safety.
