The team at Voyager Electric Vehicles is quickly building a reputation for doing things different. You might even call it “reverse engineering the golf cart industry.” That’s because for this team of solution-minded entrepreneurs, breaking the rules of how it’s always been done is how they roll – literally.

“Voyager EV is different because we started with the end in mind,” explains Andy Ilg, Chief Operating Officer and Lead Engineer. “It’s like reverse engineering but for an entire business model.”

For Andy, who has over 13 years of experience at his own golf cart dealership, building a better golf cart came as a no-brainer after the post-pandemic shift in the industry. He saw first-hand the flood of new golf cart brands at his shop – but also the lack of dealer support and manufacturer reliability.
