Must Have Apps for the Golf Car Enthusiast
It isn’t enough to simply own a golf car. We upgrade the seats and the steering wheel and tires. We change the color and really make it our own. We also need all the tech that goes along with owning a golf car. Every year, more and more apps are released to the golf car community to make our lives easier and more fun. Here are our favorites:
GPS Speed Pro
This cool app can track your speed, distance, time, location and much more data. GPS Speed Pro allows you to save your track info, display satellite status and a bunch of other cool features. This app is perfect for golfers as well as those who use their golf cars around their community or RV park.
Community Apps
While not a specific app, we love how golf car communities are developing their own apps to make traveling throughout the community easier. The Villages, Florida has their own community app that has 30,000+ downloads so far! The app includes a map that helps residents navigate the golf car trails and roundabouts throughout the 5.56 square mile community.
Golf Cart Social
Leave Facebook and Instagram drama behind and hang out on Golf Cart Social. The app is free to users and features discussions, classifieds, and all the stuff that golf car owners need to access. If you only want to see golf car related info and news in your feed, this is the app for you.
Bev Cart Apps
Have you ever been in the middle of the course and needed a drink or snack? If so, next time you golf at your country club, ask them if they have a bev cart app. These apps can be downloaded to your smartphone so that when you are ready for a beverage or snack, simply place your order. The app allows the beverage cart to locate you with GPS and your order will be on its way to you. Now, that is an app that delivers!
